Designed to easily let your Nintendo Switch stream to the TV without the default dock, the Genki Covert Dock is a 30W power plug and HDMI adaptor. It’s not restricted to the Switch, as you can also use the Covert Dock to cast your laptop or mobile devices to the big screen as well.
- Power output at 30W – 5V, 9V or 15V
- Resolution output at 1080p
- Travel version comes with adaptors for UK, EU and AU.
The Covert Dock is really easy to operate. Simply plug it into a power point, connect your device to the USB Type-C port and your screen to the Covert Dock’s HDMI port and you’re good to go. There’s also a USB Type-A port for controllers, accessories, or even ethernet. Depending on the version, it also comes with multiple power adapter converters for use in all countries.
The Genki Covert Dock basically replaces your HDMI adapter and power brick with a small portable solution. If you hate carrying around with you tons of accessories, this is a simple all-in-one solution.
I really like just how convenient it is to just use the Covert Dock. If and when travel opens again, the Genki Covert Dock will make the perfect piece of gear to bring with you on trips letting you cast Netflix shows via your laptop to hotel TVs, or play Switch games on a larger display.
You can get the Genki Covert Dock from the official manufacturer page for US$85 (S$116) with shipping to Singapore, or head to Lazada and grab it for S$120, which is a slight premium to pay, and has a one year local warranty.
